Photofacials, light therapy and LED are relatively new spa buzz words that I’m sure you’ve heard about in all of your favorite glossy mags. Are you curious about what this is?? I know I was when I first heard about it!

For those of you curious spa and skincare lovers, here’s the skinny on this new cool skincare technology:

There are a million marketing names for phototherapy – LED, IPL, light therapy, photo facials – basically they all focus on utilizing the healing power of light. Phototherapy is based on the idea of isolating specific wavelengths of light within the light spectrum for a variety of treatments and applications.

Spas, dermatologists and health clinics might call the service different names, or use different equipment, but the overall results and effects of the treatment are essentially the same.

What’s even cooler about this newer technology is that companies are now producing LED products that you can use at home! Facelogic Spa just announced the launch of ANSR: in our spas in order to offer LED treatments in our spas and to give our customers an option for a great at-home device!
